New Dominion Design Co. is a brand positioned to help bring the true, good and beautiful to New Christendom. Utilizing ‘Protestant Orange’, and designed around a single star, the brand relies on its bold presentation and California western aesthetic.
The single white star represents the long awaited King. Ages ago, wise men understood the significance of that single star…it meant the King had finally come. A new Kingdom with a never-ending dominion, had dawned.
Privileged to design the second release from New Christendom Press, entitled...Haunted Cosmos: Doing Your Duty In A World That's Not Just Stuff. As a fan of the Podcast by the same name, I can't wait to read this one!
From the back cover...
"What about what you can’t see? What about those things that can’t be touched, measured, quantified, put under a microscope, or captured through the aperture of a telescope? What if there are things out there, Things beyond things—unnamed, unthinkable, unknown? What if the world isn’t just stuff?"
“This is a bird's eye view of a well done up in a stained glass and mosaic style. It's meant to reflect art forms that marked early Christianity and compliment our desire to continually be a 'Historically Christian' church. The cross in the center is in the shape of a 'potent' cruciform, which was often used in early Christianity to remember that Christ conquers evil in power and ultimate victory. We're looking forward to doing more of the same in years to come.” -The Well Church, Boulder
Branding for an Asset Management company. We wanted to communicate quality, strength, stability, and security. I think we achieved our goal. We ended up with a strong mark.
Designed a hardcover for Advent season. This book is another release from Founder's Ministry, by author Tom Ascol.
I was commissioned to design a podcast graphic for a new podcast exploring the themes of gaming and theology. Should be fun. I was happy to help.
My first cover design for Founder's Ministry. This one needed to be designed in the same motif as the first in the series, Dear Timothy. It was a challenge to match the look exactly, but I think it turned out great.
Cattlebrand variation for New Dominion Design Co.
I was privileged to design a logo for a reformed church in Chișinău, Moldova. The goal was to design something that mimicked the cold cityscape of Chișinău, but simultaneously illustrated the warmth of Christ's redemption for that city, rooted in the Word of God.
Designed a monogram style logo for a local handyman.
I designed a full branding package for New Christendom Press including this image. A heavy illustrated King Alfred complete with the twin badges with the Latin inscriptions: “Festina Lente” (Make haste slowly) and “Vincit Qui Se Vincit” (he conquers who conquers himself). This image will be used for backdrops, product designs, and various other materials.
I was honored to design the book cover for Zachary Garris’ upcoming book, Honor Thy Fathers.
A big thank you to New Christendom Press for letting me do my thing. This was a fun one. I’m a few chapters in already and I can already tell I’m proud to have been a part of this release.
I was incredibly proud, and frankly humbled…to help design the cover for this really special book by Tom Ascol and Founder's Ministries.
Anyone who has been through the confusion and darkness of finding joy through suffering, no doubt will find this book a helpful beacon to help you navigate through those dark nights of the soul.

Podcast graphics for the homie Aaron Running
An illustration from a future book cover I can’t wait to share…
Had the privilege of branding New Christendom Press, a publishing company out of Ogden Utah. These guys are my brand of dudes. I love working with them. We came up with an iconic set of logos and marks for them that I think encapsulate their position and work in the body of Christ now and into the future. All centered on King Alfred...The greatest Christian Chad King to ever live.
From their website:
“New Christendom Press is in the business of equipping Christians to fight the good fight, build to last, and conquer the world for Christ’s Kingdom and glory.
Christ is Lord from heaven to earth, over cosmos and culture—and he has something to say about every part of what it means to be human. In fact, he is making a new humanity after his own image. We exist to take part in the vast work of his Kingdom project via high-quality print media, podcasts, music, and more.”
This logo was designed for a client but unfortunately never made it past the first round of logo options. So I repurposed it as a fictitious German Pub coaster.
Was commissioned to design a T-Shirt for the most popular Reformed podcast out right now...according to the great @RealDMWPodcast poll…Haunted Cosmos. Go check it out! My first ad is on the "A House With Many Faces" episode on the podcast app. Little known fact - I made the thumbnail for that episode as well.
Was commissioned to design a T-Shirt or an upcoming Christian conference. All they asked was for it to say “For Ogden”, to include a sun, and to feature some Winged Hussars. Boom…Deus Vult!
Switchworks is a tactile/digital off-road power switcher module. With over 64 built in LED images, I redesigned all the button icon imagery, and took their logo and made it functional.
New design for NDDC business cards
The goal of this project was to communicate stability, tradition, and leadership. Everything we chose purposefully; the colors, the use of the traditional church on the hill imagery, the type, the rising sun in the background, all of it meant to communicate a particular message of leadership, specifically for Baptists. I was honored to work on this one.
This Nehemiah graphic was used as teaching series art for a church in Northern California. The sword and the trowel are classic icons used in many designs having to do with the book of Nehemiah. I wanted to use simple lines to execute an icon style image that could be used for many different applications.
Using the Reformation Wall in Geneva as inspiration, I focused on capturing the stoic, dignified posture and detail of Theodore Beza using simple lines and colors. This brand needed many iterations for all the future applications the Beza brand has plans to expand to. It was a fun project to design.
Made this pin design for Dusty Deevers, Oklahoma Senator District 32.
Worked with the head of school to come up wth a logo for Emmanuel Hall, a Christian classical co-op in Idaho. In the design brief, it was clear, that Emmanuel was more than just the oft used word used at Christmas meaning “God with us”…rather, the word for Emmanuel was meant to convey God being with us, within the battle. The symbolism included in the design is fairly strightforward; the sword, which images God with us in the fight, which also double as a cross, the shield nods to the Classical imagery, and the shield border makes an “E” for Emmanuel.
A logo concept that I loved. A different iteration was used. Sometimes it be like that.
Dominion Fumadores is a cigar club located in Camarillo California. The brand depends on the rich tradition within cigar culture and borrows the vintage typeface and look from that aesthetic.
Good Owl Collateral Recovery, a repo business in Tennessee. With this project I wanted to communicate a professional, nocturnal, and ethical brand. I thought it wise to repossess and reform the bad boy image prevalent in the repo industry. This one was a hoot!
An important request for this logo, was to showcase a shining cross, the necessity of Word and deed.

Eldridge Products Inc. reached out to rebrand their existing brand. This required some delicate reworking. Being an established brand in the industry, EPI still needed strong brand recognition with a fresh facelift. Adding the negative space arc, revamping the colors, with a focus on their entire product line, helped turn out a decent rebrand. This one came out nice.
Part of a nationwide launch of their premium braided charge cables. This one-sheet was distributed to every AT&T store in America.
I wanted to design a graphic representing the death of death. This cracked coffin is what I came up with. Originally, it was just a graphic for myself but Righteous Wretch ended up picking it up in a deign I did for them.
The task was to create a family of products which shared all the same imagery but had differentiated flavor profiles. I designed the logos, using color and sunglasses to create the difference. Then I managed the design of the packaging, the displays, the flavor cards, the labels, even the flavor profiles themselves. The industry was a precarious one, but was a fun project to be involved In at the time.
I was commissioned to help rebrand the beloved Avenue on the west side of Ventura California. It had some rough years and needed some help to remind the city what made that area so special. The food and culture in that area is rich and vibrant. So the rebrand was focused on those aspects. The bold and simple line design was well received and became one of my personal favorites.
I was approached by Beacon Hill Classical Academy to clean up a rough design they had for a helmet decal. I threw in a Gryphons type face for fun. Good project.

I was asked to rebrand CGN. In the process we went for a real stripped down, but iconic look that I think works well.
An image I did for a church event in Reality Carpinteria.
Part of a nationwide launch of their premium braided charge cables. This display box was distributed to every AT&T store in America.

Cultivate Church Planting Podcast graphic. As part of the CGN ecosystem, it needed to feel part of the family. The lines are depicting a C, as well as plow lines.
Cover concept for Scepter & Spade, a publication centered on eschatology and building Christian culture.
Sticker design for fun.
Tee design for Goon the Glorious
Logo design for The Reforming Classical Education Podcast. I wanted to do something in vintage colors with reds and golds.
Soli Deo Gloria Tee Design
A graphic designed for a teaching series through the book of Ephesians.
I was asked to create a patch for the Ventura County Fire Chiefs Association. The colors, bugles, and the Maltese cross all needed to work together to produce a readable and iconic patch. This turned out great.
A alternate logo I did for CGN.
A logo I did for the Expositors Collective. The end version ended up with less lines, but there’s something about the busyness of the burst lines that I like.
Clothing line graphic for Goon the Glorious.
Logo for a small business
